So going back to school has got me thinking again…

I love to think! Wal-Mart was just so brainless of a job, it didn’t stimulate my brain like school used to. I’m starting to get the hang of one class that was giving me problems. I’m not the only one who was having a hard time. The average grade in the class so far is 50%. That’s an “F” for those keeping track at home…I’m currently pulling a “C-” (70%) in that PSY 300 class. In my STAT 243 class I have a “B”. My BA 205 class I have a “A+”. My PSY 345 class I’m dragging along with a “D”. As you can see business is my strong point. I’ve gotten an “A” on every assignment and even completed the available extra credit. Psychology still fascinates me is my weak point and I really need to pick up the pace because psych is going to be my minor. I do really well during the class discussions. I bring up good points and understand everything that is going on, BUT the tests have all been more technical than the lectures covering more chemical responses and parts of the brain and what their function is.

That’s a total of 17 credits!!! Even more than I’m doing this term. ALSO this is the term I have to go back to work since I started my “vacation” in July. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class is only a one credit class I’m taking for personal enrichment that won’t have any homework attached to it. The BA 311 class might not happen since I have to get accepted into the School of Business Administration (SBA). If that was the case my workload would go down to an acceptable 13 credits. I can’t dip below 12 credits for my financial aid status. The two Philosophy classes are the last two courses I need to complete my Junior cluster (A requirement to graduate). Unfortunately I only wanted to go M,W,F to school but I have to take my STAT 244 class to get those requirements out of the way. I could take it another day, but the instructor I have now only teaches it on Tue/Thu and he is the first instructor I’ve ever had who can make me understand upper divisional math. The style he teaches suits me well and I don’t want to mess that up.

So next term I really have my work cut out for me…

I’m not worried…I’ll get myself a job (perhaps on campus since I’m there forever anyways), cut back some of my bills, stay up a little later, it’ll be like when I was 20 yrs. old…even though I’m turning 27…UGH…I’m turning 27…IF I’m lucky I’ll get getting my B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Psychology just a few months before I’m 30…I guess it’s true what they say…You’re never too old…!!!
