PSU is the best school in the world…

So today was my first day as a student at Portland State University. My full schedule of classes doesn’t really start until tomorrow, but I had to be in a Business Communications class that I am on the wait list for to see if I can get into it. As I’ve said in a previous blog. I need this BA 205 class in order to start working on my junior year classes for my major in marketing. So, I got accepted from the wait list, but I really wanted to take the Tues/Thurs class instead of the Mon/Wed class. I’m still on the wait list for the Tues/Thurs class so we’ll see how that goes tomorrow. If I get accepted into the Tues/Thurs class, I’ll gladly drop my Mon/Wed class. I really want to avoid the commute as much as possible.

For the sake of time, I drove to class instead of taking the MAX. It was the only class I had today and I really didn’t want to ride the MAX for a roundtrip total of 2.5hrs. for a 2hr class. Now you all see why I really want the Tues/Thurs class?!?

PSU offers so much, that I could spend days wondering around campus looking into all of the programs and clubs. So far I’ve encountered nothing, but friendly people however I’m sure that’ll change mid way into the term. I actually felt old for a change today. I just happened to be the 3rd oldest person in this mornings class. A trend I feel will follow me around my studies at PSU.

I get free wireless internet while I’m on campus, so I can be online sitting in the middle of the park blocks listening to my Sirius Satellite radio account online…while I myspace…research for projects, and email friends and family…

Could it get any better?!?
